Sprinto

Agent-driven compliance automation platform for startups and mid-market companies, with ISO 42001 support and AI tool discovery

Sprinto is a compliance automation (GRC) platform founded in 2020 by Girish Redekar and Raghuveer Kancherla. It operates from Bengaluru and San Francisco through Sprinto Technology Private Limited and Sprinto, Inc. It has raised $31.8 million, most recently a $20 million Series B led by Accel in April 2024, and says more than 4,000 companies use it. The platform automates continuous monitoring, evidence collection, policies, risk and vendor management and audit preparation through 300+ integrations. Sprinto says 25+ frameworks are automated out of the box and 200+ are digitized, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR and PCI DSS. In March 2026 it announced an Autonomous Trust Platform of software agents that refresh evidence, run vendor due-diligence questionnaires and track control gaps to closure; its AI Playground lets teams build their own agents without code. **AI compliance coverage** Sprinto has a dedicated ISO/IEC 42001 offering with policy templates, control coverage, continuous monitoring and expert guidance, and detects AI tool use across browser extensions, managed devices, integrations and SSO sign-ins. Its EU AI Act material is a free applicability checker and a landing page promising automated AI risk classification; the NIST AI RMF is mentioned only as a control set it maps from. AI Governance is sold as an add-on. **Who it's for** Startups and mid-market companies that need SOC 2 or ISO 27001 and want ISO 42001 on the same platform. Named customers include WeWork, Anaconda and Whatfix.

Vanta says its AI answers more than 80% of security questionnaire questions. In November 2025 it launched an agent-based Agentic Trust Platform for evidence, questionnaires, vendor oversight and risk, and its agent can be used inside Claude and Cursor through an MCP server. It bought Riskey, a third- and fourth-party risk monitoring company, in July 2025. More than 100 audit firms work in the platform. **AI compliance coverage** Vanta has dedicated products for ISO/IEC 42001, the NIST AI RMF (launched in preview in January 2024 with 60 pre-built requirements and 10 risk scenarios) and the EU AI Act (announced in October 2024). The ISO 42001 product includes policy and document templates, mapped controls, automated tests, AI risk scenarios and access to accredited ISO 42001 auditors who review evidence in the platform. The EU AI Act product classifies AI systems by role and risk level, inventories AI use, and provides templates, AI-drafted policies, impact assessments and post-market monitoring records. **Who it's for** Startups through enterprises that need SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA and want AI frameworks on the same platform.
